Oh, don\u2019t get me wrong, this journey does hurt at times; it does. It\u2019s a rather painful endeavor, one that has repeatedly graced me with gnawing doubts and raw stings of heartbreak. More times than I dare to count. A blank page can be a formidable adversary, and the path to fill it with something meaningful is paved with blocks of unwieldy sentences, peppered with plot holes. Imagined beta readers stand by the roadside, scratching their heads in confusion. Add a vague fear that the story will never translate from my head onto the page the way I intended, and you\u2019ll have a good idea of how it felt.<\/p>

And yet.<\/p>

And yet.<\/p>

Despite these difficulties, I love this. Always did. But chose to ignore it for a long time. No matter how often it beckoned or pleaded with me. I merely offered an impatient nod, an internal sigh of \u201clater, perhaps,\u201d before my attention would drift back to the demands of my day-to-day.<\/p>

But this time, something had shifted. I chose to heed the call, much to my surprise and look, there\u2019s this baby bookling now, still in its infancy. It is far from mature, still requiring attention, love, and care from me, its author. And I shall do my best to grow it into a joyful experience\u2013for you, dear reader. To give joy to those who embark on this adventure with me, my characters, my worlds. There\u2019s so much to see! I can\u2019t wait to share it with you.<\/p>
